Pink Elefants
Pink Elefants can’t be put into a box. The new act, containing members of alt-rock stalwarts Megosh, integrate hints of old-school hip-hop and pop sensibilities into their modern rock roots. Inspired by the classic “Pink Elephants on Parade”, the group aims to be boundless and genre-defying in their sound, covering the complexity of the human condition, showcasing a constant evolution through each track, and challenging themselves to take a new approach with each and every release. A brainchild of Josh Matthew and Brian “Finch” Flores, the duo has reunited with longtime Megosh drummer Mike Hart, and joined by Dom Stellabotte on bass.
“Pink Elefants’ true passion lies in the creation of the tracks,” the quartet states. “Writing together in this group brings back a lot of fun for us. The limitations are removed and we can just write without worrying too much about all the other hoopla that comes along with being in a musical entity with business-like endeavors. Brass tacks—we’ve been able to focus mostly on the music and creative aspects. Not many artists have that luxury. Our team is strong and the hands and minds behind this project is a dream team of passionate and hungry musical virtuosos.
